Sign up for watering!
Click on a date on the calendar below to put your name down as an "event" on any day that you plan to water (mid-May to early September).
Anyone is welcome to participate in watering and you can sign up for as many days as you'd like.
The goal is for someone to be watering everyday. If it rains on your watering day or the night before you do not have to water.
Watering takes about 20 minutes and can be counted as service hours.
ONCE YOU SIGN UP FOR A DATE PLEASE SET A REMINDER IN YOUR PHONE/CALENDAR SO THAT YOU REMEMBER TO WATER ON THAT DAY!!

Watering Instructions
(If it’s a rainy day you don’t need to water)
The Urban Farm is at the red star and the water spigot is at the yellow dot.

Get the watering can from inside the workbench and bring it to the water spigot.

Use the key (inside the plastic container in the workbench) to turn on the water. Fill the watering can with the left side of the spigot.

Water all areas with plants. Check the garden map on this website under "The Garden" to see where plants are growing. Please water the sunflowers and try not to step on them while watering other plants. If water starts pooling at the top of the soil, stop watering. Take more trips to the spigot as necessary (normally takes 3-4 trips).

Place the empty watering can inside the workbench again.

Place the key in the container the same way you found it.
